Rebecca Olson, M.S.
My name is Rebecca Olson. I earned my BA in Psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and MS in Psychology from WVU. I am currently a fourth year student in the Adolescent Development Lab. My research interests are listed below. If you have any questions about my research or the MAD lab, please feel free to contact me!
My primary research interest is the relationship between religious behavior, spirituality, and adolescent outcomes. Such outcomes include adolescent risk taking behaviors such as substance use, pro-social behaviors such as academic performance and volunteering, and sociopolitical values such as authoritarianism. I am also interested in parent adolescent communication and how parents' beliefs, values, and behaviors are associated with these outcomes.
